Common questions

What counts as a "context token"?
Context tokens are the tokens FusionLayer reads and injects into your AI requests — the memory layer. Tokens generated by the underlying vendor model are billed separately by the vendor (or free if you use Bring Your Own Key).
What is Bring Your Own Key?
Bring Your Own Key means you connect your own API keys from vendors like Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. FusionLayer routes requests through your key — you pay the vendor directly at their rates, not through FusionLayer. Available on Developer tier and above.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle boundary.
Is there a free trial for paid tiers?
Developer and Team tiers include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start.
